A composting toilet.

This one is made with a recycled refrigerator as the catch basin, reclaimed local barn wood and roundwood, and recycled lumber.

but it holds a secretUnderneath is an intricate network of plastic coated chicken wire, ventilation pipes, and a door to harvest the HUMANURE.
 
HUMANURE is ..
 composted human waste and paper along with pine shavings to aid break down may be used to fertilize ornamentals or the forest floor after the humanure is allowed to sit for 1 year, sometimes longer in moist climates.
 
Composting Toilets require little maintenance.  Once a year shovel out the crumbly dark composted waste.  Properly composted humanure does not smell of anything but earth, for that is what it is.
